Georgia Magic Officers Michael Green, Executive Director and Head Coach His coaching experience has come from years of study, research and playing the game of basketball. His relationship with girl's sports blossomed through his own two children's participation at an early age in basketball and fast pitch softball, which he started coaching in 1986. His record off the court in his relationships, combined with his coaching style reflects his belief in teaching athletes to succeed with a positive attitude and hard work in order to achieve the dream of playing college basketball. Because of his love of the sport of basketball and lack of support during his high school years to achieve his goals, he has dedicated his time to making sure that all of his girls are given the opportunity to exhibit their talents both on the court and in the classroom. He has coached AAU Girls Basketball for the last 16 years. Eight of his teams have reached the Sweet Sixteen at AAU Nationals, with his 1999 18 & Under team winning the AAU National Championship, 2001 AAU runner-up at the National Championship at 14 & Under, and his 14 & Under team winning in 2003. Paul Meiere, Executive Director and Head Coach A member of WBCA, YBOA, and AAU, Coach Meiere has coached basketball in church leagues, YBOA, AAU and high school for over 20 years. Like Coach Green, a number of his teams have reached the Sweet Sixteen at AAU Nationals, and he co-coached the 1999 18U team to the AAU National Championship. 2005-2006 Officers and Committees
