What We Promise
The only promises we will make are the following:

1) We will work the girls hard;
2) We will attempt to make them all better basketball players;
3) We will participate in events in front of college coaches;
4) We will play aggressive, smart, team basketball.

If the things I’ve listed above are what you are looking for in a basketball program for your daughter, then we’re extremely excited to have you come try be part of this program.

GACA 2006 All-Star Game
Julia Paquette was named to the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association (GACA) 2005-2006 All Star Roster. She will play for the "South" in the girls all star game on March 12 at 2PM at Savannah State. Congratulations to Julia for this honor.

Gary Moss Award Winners
Gary Moss was a tireless supporter of the Georgia Magic program, and parent of a player who began her basketball career in our program, Lindsey Moss. In January of 1998, Gary lost his battle with cancer. In his honor, each year the club has recognized an outstanding young lady who has represented the ideals of the Georgia Magic organization. Those award winners are listed below:

2005-2006 High School All-American
In Street&Smith's College Basketball 2005-2006 National Preview magazine, Julia Paquette (Eagles Landing HS) was named Honorable Mention All-American. This is the 3rd consecutive year that Julia has received this honor. Congratulations to Julia for her hard work and accomplishments.

2003 Georgia Magic Banquet - Highlights
The Georgia Magic Banquet held on Sunday, October 19, 2003 was attended by about 200 players, parents, coaches, friends and relatives. In addition to enjoying a good meal, the occasion gave us the opportunity to review the past season's successes, recognize those who contribute so much to the program, and look ahead to the challenges of the future.

Among the many highlights of the event were the inspirational speech by Liz Nichols, and a poem sent in by Rosemary Boner, a member of the 1999 18&U National Championship team. 2003-2004 High School All-Americans
In Street&Smith's College Basketball 2003-04 National Preview magazine, seven Georgia Magic players were honored to be listed as 2003 Girls High School All-Americans. Ketia Swanier (Columbus HS) made the 5th Team All-America Team, while India Ali (SW Dekalb HS), Shantell Black (Collins Hill HS), Christen Brown (Dalton HS), Julia Paquette (Eagles Landing HS), Porsha Phillips (Redan HS), and Ashley Thomas (Stephenson HS) were named Honorable Mention All-Americans. Congratulations to these girls for this wonderful recognition.
